This page covers unplugged.qinary.com only. It is short because we collect very little and do very little with it.
What we collect
If you fill in the application form, we collect your name, email address, and whatever else you choose to put in it: phone number, company, what you do, and what you would be stepping away from. Only your name and email are required.
If you are approved and you buy a seat, Stripe collects your card details and billing address to take the payment. We never see or store your card number.
If you fill in the onboarding questions after paying, we collect your answers, any dietary requirements, and your arrival details.
Why we have it
To read your application and reply to it, to run the event, to seat you next to people you will get something from, and to tell you the things you need to know before you arrive. That is all. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else touches it
We use a small number of companies to run this, and your information passes through them:
- Stripe takes the payment and holds the billing details.
- Resend delivers our emails to you.
- HighLevel is the system we keep applicant and attendee records in.
- Google Workspace hosts the mailbox that receives your replies.
- Vercel hosts this site and keeps short lived server logs that include IP addresses.
- jsDelivr serves the animation library this page uses, so it receives your IP address and browser details when the page loads.
- CIVANA Carefree is the resort. If you attend we share what they need to host you, and you book your own room with them directly.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no advertising or tracking pixels on it.
How long we keep it
Applications we decline are kept so we can get in touch about a future event, unless you ask us not to. Attendee records are kept while we are running Unplugged and for our own accounting afterwards.
Having it removed
Email unplugged@qinary.com and ask. You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and a person will action it rather than a form. If you paid for a seat there are some records we have to keep for tax reasons, and we will tell you plainly which those are.
